how do I get my pet listed on this site?

looking for short or long term foster care for your pet? head to our 'important documents' under dogs in need. fill out the application form and submit to our service e-mail. please allow us a couple days for processing.

Who can foster pets in need?

anyone can apply to foster pets in need. civilians and caf members are encouraged to participate and foster pets in need.

I have a reptile/rodent/bird etc. Could you post my pet?

yes. we will post any pets provided you fill out the forms provided.

can you guarantee my pet will find a foster?

unfortunately at this time we are not able to guarantee your pet will find a foster. we encourage owners to make alternate/backup plans until a suitable match is found. the best way to ensure pets find matches is to share the site and tell your friends to tell their friends!

what happens if my pet gets sick/injured while i am on deployment or exercise?

we strongly encourage pet owners to purchase pet insurance for their pets. if you choose not to purchase insurance, an alternative agreement must be made between owner and foster to ensure the well being of the pet.
