Mission

Doggone'x was created to help connect active military members with pets requiring long term foster care while they are away with other members willing to open their homes to their pets. Pet owners are able to post their pets on the website by submitting a 'Pet Post Form' (found on the Resources page). In turn, volunteer foster members are able to search through the pets needing care, and contact their owners directly in order to determine suitability and other details.

We strive to provide owners and members with all of the resources they need in order to make informed decisions about their pets foster care arrangements. While the ultimate responsibility lies with the owner, we are always here to help.

Doggone'x will become a primary resource for military members when they need long term foster care for their pets. We will strive to be recommended by military assistance organizations and individual MFRC organizations.

We aim to promote responsible pet ownership by providing financial assistance to military members who require emergency pet care or support with costs incurred due to veterinary emergencies.

Doggone'x wants to help promote the local military-pet community by connecting military pet owners with local pet organizations and businesses offering incentives and discount programs for members.
