The right fit

Whats your energy level?

Dogs and people require varying levels of exercise and mental stimulation. Is the foster dog used to going for 10 km runs every day? If so ensure you can provide a similar activity level. Is the potential foster dog a couch potatoe? They may not enjoy being dragged to the mountains to go hiking.

1.

How much time are you willing to dedicate to a pet?

Dogs often require a significant commitment as foster pets. Be prepared to provide several walks per day. Are you a busy person? Some pets (such as cats or reptiles) may have a significantly lower commitment level.

2.

Do you have other pets in the household?

Proper meet and greets prior to drop off are key to ensuring a positive experience for everyone. See our guide HERE.
